The Senior Platform Engineer will lead the migration of Trojan’s infrastructure from AWS‑managed services to Kubernetes on EKS, design portable, high‑availability systems, and own end‑to‑end infrastructure decisions, ensuring performance and reliability for a high‑throughput crypto trading platform.

Requirements

• 5+ years experience in DevOps, SRE, or cloud infrastructure roles.
• Production experience operating stateful or data systems in Kubernetes (e.g., Kafka/RedPanda, Postgres, ClickHouse, Flink, Spark, Trino/Presto).
• Deep expertise with AWS and production Kubernetes, especially EKS; ECS experience a plus.
• Strong proficiency with Terraform or other IaC tools.
• Experience managing CI/CD systems such as GitHub Actions, CircleCI, or Jenkins.
• Solid understanding of networking fundamentals, load balancing, and microservices orchestration.
• Proven ability to design infrastructure for high‑throughput, low‑latency, high‑frequency data workloads.
• Experience tuning cloud and containerized workloads for optimal performance.
• Demonstrated experience operating, debugging, upgrading, or owning production Kubernetes infrastructure.
• Prior experience with performance‑critical web or trading systems.
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate within a cross‑functional, mid‑sized engineering team.
• Demonstrated pride and responsibility for building high‑quality products in fast‑moving crypto environments.
