About the role
The Forward Deployed Electrician serves as the technical authority and operational backbone for new market launches, traveling for extended periods to lead field execution, train contractor networks, enforce quality standards, and interface with regulators, thereby ensuring flawless energy market rollouts across the country.

Requirements
- Valid Journeyman or Master Electrician license (multi‑state licensure or willingness to acquire reciprocity/travel licenses is a plus)
- 5+ years of electrical experience with strong focus on residential/commercial energy storage systems, solar microgrids, EV infrastructure, or generator integration
- Willingness and ability to travel up to 75%+ of the time, including multi‑month deployments across the US
- Proven ability to manage, train, and hold third‑party contractors and local crews accountable to high technical standards without direct authority
- Comfort operating in fast‑paced, ambiguous environments where local codes, utility requirements, and logistical dynamics vary by location
- Exceptional communication skills to translate complex electrical concepts to engineering teams, local contractors, and city inspectors
