Threat Intelligence Analyst, Threat Disruption

About the role

The Threat Disruption team provides expert threat intelligence and runs large‑scale operations to investigate and disrupt adversaries targeting X, covering platform manipulation, account compromises, influence campaigns, fraud and other rule violations, while coordinating with product, engineering, policy and law‑enforcement.

• Strong proficiency in SQL for querying large, complex datasets
• Comfort using the command line, writing scripts, and leveraging AI tools to scale work
• Flexibility to work across time zones, including weekends and holidays, as part of an on‑call rotation
• Strong respect for users’ freedom of speech and privacy
• Experience investigating platform manipulation, account compromise, influence operations, or fraud (preferred)
• Experience turning investigations into production changes and enforcement outcomes (preferred)
• Experience in a 24/7 on‑call rotation, owning urgent incidents and briefing leadership (preferred)
