About the role

The Technical Program Manager on the Space business line leads day‑to‑day execution of orbital programs, coordinating budget, schedule, customer requirements and cross‑functional engineering efforts to deliver hardware and software space solutions.

Requirements

  • Experience executing engineering or program management for space hardware, payloads, subsystems, or satellites
  • Strong understanding of space systems engineering, environmental considerations and verification & validation
  • Experience deploying and integrating sophisticated hardware/software for national‑security space systems
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Computer, Aerospace, Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
  • 4+ years relevant industry experience
  • CAPM or PMP certification a plus
  • Experience building and leading cross‑functional teams
  • Adaptive, introspective and willing to learn, teach, lead and follow
  • Ability to set and achieve goals in ambiguous, limited‑resource environments
  • Prior engineering work on space systems a plus
  • Active U.S. Top Secret security clearance
  • Proven experience leading multi‑disciplinary engineering teams to successful project completion
  • Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment
  • Collaborative problem‑solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Experience with Microsoft Project or equivalent project‑management software
  • Ability to organize, prioritize and simplify complex problems
  • Lead team to develop solutions to complex, time‑sensitive problems
  • Maintain customer relationships with timely, accurate communications
  • Creation of project proposals, program plans, reports and process documentation
