About the role

The Systems Integration Administrator will be a core member of a newly combined DevSecOps and Red Hat team, responsible for building, maintaining and automating Red Hat Enterprise Linux server infrastructure, onboarding new applications, and ensuring secure, compliant production deployments for federal customers.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of Red Hat Linux administration experience in an enterprise setting
  • Professional certifications such as RHCSA or CompTIA Linux+ and Security+
  • Experience working in regulated or compliance‑driven environments (government or defense)
  • Deep knowledge of RHEL 7+/CentOS 7+ core components, kernel, system libraries, and package management (RPM, YUM)
  • Solid understanding of network protocols including TCP/IP, DNS, SSL/TLS, and HTTP
  • Strong grasp of secure system design and operational security principles
  • Ability to document processes and clearly communicate technical risks to stakeholders
  • Excellent problem‑solving skills and adaptability in a fast‑paced environment
  • Active TS/SCI clearance required
  • Preferred: Hands‑on automation/scripting experience using Bash or Python
  • Preferred: Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and modern deployment practices
  • Preferred: Experience with virtualization (VMware) or container platforms (Docker, Kubernetes)
  • Preferred: Knowledge of Infrastructure‑as‑Code concepts
  • Preferred: Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE) certification
