Job description

About the role

The role sits in Enterprise Marketing Strategy & Operations, designing and owning the operating cadence, planning cycles and ROI frameworks that will shape how the org scales. You will create and run weekly, monthly and quarterly review processes, build financial models linking spend and headcount to performance, and use Claude‑powered tools to improve workflow and demonstrate value to customers.

About the company

Anthropic is a public‑benefit corporation focused on building reliable, interpretable and steerable AI systems. Based in San Francisco, the fast‑growing team blends researchers, engineers, policy experts and business leaders to create safe, beneficial AI for users and society.

Requirements

  • Background in marketing operations, strategy & operations, or business operations with ability to work independently
  • Proven experience building operating cadences, planning processes or business reviews from scratch in fast‑moving, ambiguous environments
  • Led end‑to‑end annual planning cycles: framework creation, target cascading, plan collection from non‑direct reports, and narrative aggregation
  • Ability to pressure‑test other teams' plans and surface inconsistencies without authority over them
  • Hands‑on financial modeling skills; capable of creating spend‑efficiency or ROI frameworks in spreadsheets
  • Excellent executive‑level writing: business documents, recommendations and reports that stand up to scrutiny
  • Experience using AI tools to measurably accelerate workflows and ability to articulate impact
  • Fluent with spreadsheets, BI dashboards, project‑management software and CRM systems such as Salesforce or HubSpot
  • Preferred: Owned operating cadence and planning for organizations of 100+ people
  • Preferred: Built spend‑efficiency or ROI frameworks from scratch and partnered with finance on business cases
  • Preferred: Experience operating across multiple leadership organizations with differing priorities
  • Preferred: Redesigned internal communications structures (meeting format, messaging norms, information flow)
  • Preferred: Background at high‑growth tech companies known for strong marketing functions
  • Preferred: Familiarity with pipeline measurement, marketing attribution and lead‑funnel operations
  • Preferred: Working knowledge of SQL or BI tooling
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education, training and experience
  • Relevant field of study demonstrated through coursework, training or professional experience
