About the role
The Strategic People Partner works directly with senior leaders across Oyster to build leadership capability, shape organizational design, lead employee‑relations matters, develop performance processes and people programs, and partner with People Experience, Talent Acquisition, Legal and other functions. The role is fully remote (UTC+1 to UTC‑5) and focuses on coaching, advising and driving consistent people strategy worldwide.

Requirements
- Minimum 7 years of People and Business Partner experience in fast‑paced organizations.
- Experience in organizational design, including leading significant org‑design changes.
- Deep knowledge of HR programs, coaching, facilitation, performance management and employee relations.
- Proven track record partnering with globally distributed teams across the Americas and EMEA.
- Demonstrated ability to build trusting relationships with stakeholders and deliver results.
- Strong communication skills and executive presence; able to convey complex topics verbally and in writing.
- Experience designing and running strategic people programs with a research‑driven, product‑mindset.
- Proficiency in leveraging AI tools to automate administrative aspects of people partnering.
- Bonus: Experience supporting organizations through rapid growth, scaling or transformation (e.g., hypergrowth, post‑funding, restructuring).
- Bonus: Experience building or supporting remote‑first or async‑first cultures across globally distributed teams.
