Requirements

• Strong experience building and operating large‑scale backend systems.
• Hands‑on Golang experience preferred; Java or Scala also relevant.
• Deep understanding of distributed systems, microservices, REST APIs and AWS.
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Exposure to high‑volume data, streaming or event‑driven systems.
• Strong understanding of security, privacy and data protection.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills and comfort working through ambiguity.
• Strong communication skills and ability to influence technical decisions.
• Track record of mentoring engineers and driving impact across teams.
• Permanent right to work in the UK; no visa sponsorship.
• Based in London or within a commutable distance and able to attend the office as needed.
