About the role
The Senior ML Engineer (MLOps) will design, build and maintain tooling, services and platforms for machine‑learning and generative‑AI products, including training/inference pipelines, model evaluation frameworks and APIs, while deploying across the AI/ML lifecycle, mentoring teammates and collaborating with clinicians, data scientists and product managers.

Requirements
- 6+ years experience deploying ML/AI solutions in production
- Proficient in Python and able to write high‑quality code
- Experience building RESTful APIs
- Experience defining and using Protobuf messages
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes deployments
- Experience with relational and low‑latency databases
- Experience working with Celery
- Strong desire to work on ML/AI products and learn new technologies quickly
- Ability to build systems from scratch and balance quality with deadlines
- Excellent communication, consensus‑building and alignment skills
- Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize complex problems
- Experience building retrieval‑augmented generation (RAG) solutions (preferred)
- Experience setting up and maintaining vector databases (preferred)
- Experience writing production code in Java or Kotlin (preferred)
- Experience building solutions on cloud infrastructure, especially AWS (preferred)
- Experience handling highly sensitive data in a healthcare environment (preferred)
