- Experience defining and reporting KPIs and SLAs for an operations team and using that reporting to run day‑to‑day
- Deep knowledge of end‑to‑end cash application across wires, ACH, credit card and lockbox, including remittance handling, short pays, deductions, unapplied cash and cash‑to‑AR reconciliation
- Experience maintaining cash application procedures, internal controls and working directly with internal or external auditors
- Hands‑on experience with an ERP such as NetSuite, Oracle or SAP and strong Excel or Google Sheets skills for analyzing large transaction datasets
- Clear written and verbal communication skills, with ability to present performance data and recommendations to finance leadership and work effectively with finance and non‑finance partners
- 8+ years of progressive experience in cash application, accounts receivable, GL accounting or order‑to‑cash operations, including several years managing a team, ideally at a fast‑growing B2B SaaS or usage‑based billing company
- Experience as business owner or administrator of an AR automation platform (e.g., Tesorio, HighRadius, Billtrust, Growfin) configuring matching rules and shaping integration design
- Experience with Stripe, Salesforce and modern billing systems such as Zuora, and with high‑volume payment‑processor settlement reconciliation
- Experience applying cash across multiple legal entities, currencies and regions, and working with contractor or offshore team members
- Working knowledge of SOX controls and audit requirements as they relate to cash and accounts receivable
- Experience using Claude or other LLM‑based tools to remove manual work in a finance or AR setting and interest in building team habits
- Experience building capacity models that show how automation changes the relationship between transaction volume and headcount, and using them to justify automation investment
- Comfort with ambiguity, bias toward action and willingness to stay close to details while building for scale
- Passion for AI and interest in the responsible development of advanced systems
