The Sr. Engineer, Development Operations leads the architecture and advancement of Navitus' cloud platform and automation, driving secure, scalable Azure‑based solutions and guiding cross‑functional engineering teams.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
  • 8+ years experience in DevOps, Platform Engineering, Cloud Engineering or SRE with at least 5 years designing and supporting Azure solutions in enterprise environments
  • Proven leadership of cloud modernization, platform engineering, IaC, DevSecOps and CI/CD automation initiatives
  • Advanced expertise with Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Terraform, Bicep, ARM templates, Azure CLI and enterprise CI/CD architectures
  • Experience building enterprise‑scale IaC frameworks, reusable Terraform modules, platform blueprints and policy‑as‑code
  • Proficient scripting/automation using PowerShell, Python and Bash
  • Strong knowledge of Azure services including App Services, AKS, Azure SQL, Functions, Key Vault, Storage, App Gateway, Load Balancer, VNET, NSG, Private Link, DNS and API Management
  • Hands‑on containerization and orchestration with Docker, Kubernetes (AKS), Helm, Azure Container Registry, ingress, networking, security and autoscaling
  • Deep understanding of Azure AD (Entra ID), RBAC, Managed Identities, PIM and service principals
  • Expertise in monitoring and observability using Azure Monitor, Application Insights, Log Analytics, KQL, dashboards and alerting
  • Certifications such as Microsoft Certified DevOps Engineer Expert, Azure Solutions Architect Expert or Azure Security Engineer Associate preferred
  • Experience supporting AI/ML platform automation (Azure OpenAI, Azure ML, Databricks ML, MLflow) preferred
  • Experience establishing observability, reliability engineering, SLO/SLI and governance practices preferred
  • Experience with Azure DevOps extensions, release gates, pipeline security scanning preferred
  • Familiarity with serverless architectures and services (Functions, Logic Apps, Event Grid, Event Hub, Service Bus) preferred
  • Experience with enterprise integrations using REST, GraphQL, SOAP, webhooks and API Management preferred
  • Experience with Azure Databricks, Data Factory, Synapse, Delta Lake, Data Lake Storage Gen2 and DataOps preferred
  • Experience with MLOps, model deployment automation and AI workloads preferred
  • Experience mentoring engineers and conducting architecture reviews preferred
  • Experience in regulated environments (HIPAA, HITRUST, SOC 2, ISO 27001, NIST) preferred
  • Knowledge of Cloud Adoption Framework, Well‑Architected Framework, Zero Trust and cloud governance best practices preferred
