About the role
The Sr Software Engineer at Cotiviti is responsible for supporting and enhancing existing software applications within the Cotiviti product suite, collaborating with senior developers, offshore teams, business owners, and project management to resolve issues, improve performance, mentor developers, and drive continuous improvement across the software development lifecycle.
Requirements
- BS degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline
- Minimum 10 years of relevant industry experience
- Healthcare data experience
- Proficiency working with large datasets
- Experience with relational databases
- Experience with ETL processes
- Optimization and tuning of SQL/Oracle queries, stored procedures, and triggers
- Deep understanding of object‑oriented analysis and design
- Experience with MS Access
- Experience with scripting languages such as VBScript and PowerShell
- Experience with Java frameworks and the .NET Framework
- Knowledge of one or more enterprise scheduling tools
- Strong written and oral communication skills
