The Senior iOS Engineer will own and ship production code for Speechify’s iOS app, lead key engineering and product decisions, work within a dedicated product team, influence the roadmap, and maintain the complex app architecture, all while delivering fast, user‑focused experiences in a high‑growth, remote startup environment.

Requirements

• Proven experience building products that scale to a large user base
• Track record of taking products from inception to meaningful traction and owning engineering delivery
• Demonstrated customer obsession and focus on exceptional user experiences
• Strong product thinking and ability to guide designers and internal teams
• Ability to work quickly, prioritize shipping vs. longer‑term work
• Comfort thriving in a fast‑growth, remote startup environment
• Proficiency in Swift and SwiftUI
• Experience with multithreading programming
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and Fastlane
• Solid understanding of SOLID principles applied to class design
• Proficient with Git and various branching/strategies
