About the role

The Software Engineer I designs, develops, tests, and maintains software components for the OneStream platform, building UI features, APIs, and data access logic, collaborating with senior engineers, Product and QA, and delivering high-quality, reliable code throughout the full software development lifecycle.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2–4 years of professional software development experience.
  • Proficiency with object-oriented programming and the Microsoft technology stack, including C#, .NET, and ASP.NET.
  • Basic experience with modern UI frameworks such as Angular, React, Blazor, and WPF.
  • Familiarity with data formats and markup languages such as JSON and XML.
  • Experience building enterprise or platform-oriented applications.
  • Familiarity with cloud-hosted or SaaS-based systems.
  • Introductory experience with automated testing practices.
  • Azure Fundamentals or entry-level Azure certification.
  • Solid understanding of software development fundamentals and object-oriented design.
  • Ability to learn new technologies and frameworks quickly.
  • Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to code quality.
