About the role
The Staff Site Reliability Engineer will lead the technical rearchitecting of a large‑scale monolithic application into a cloud‑native microservices platform, drive cloud operations, reliability, monitoring, DevOps practices, and mentor junior engineers, working remotely across the United States.

Requirements
- U.S. citizenship required; 100% remote within the continental United States
- 7+ years of experience with cloud computing platforms, with strong multi‑cloud expertise in AWS and Azure
- 7+ years of experience rearchitecting large‑scale monolithic applications to cloud‑native architectures
- Strong expertise in Kubernetes (K8S), including hands‑on experience with Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) and Elastic Kubernetes Service (EKS)
- Strong experience with cloud networking, capable of designing and resolving complex cloud networking architecture problems
- Expert knowledge of Terraform for infrastructure‑as‑code deployment and management
- Strong knowledge of security best practices for containers and Kubernetes clusters
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
- Preferred: knowledge of load balancing algorithms
