The SharePoint Developer designs, develops and maintains SharePoint and broader Microsoft 365 solutions for clients, translating business requirements into custom applications, overseeing migrations, supporting existing environments and collaborating with stakeholders to ensure high‑quality, secure deliveries aligned with BCN’s client‑centric values.

Requirements

• Experience with SPFx customisation, including application customisers, webparts, listview command‑set extensions, form customisations and deployment targets.
• Knowledge of SharePoint tenant deployment options.
• Experience building Power Platform solutions, especially Power Automate flows.
• Proficiency with PowerShell PnP and PnP provisioning framework.
• Basic Azure DevOps knowledge.
• General development skills: TypeScript, JavaScript, React, HTML/CSS/SCSS/JSON/XML, NodeJS, NPM/NVM, Gulp, Webpack.
• Experience using SharePoint REST API and basic Microsoft Graph knowledge.
• Familiarity with Microsoft 365 service offerings such as Teams, SharePoint, Entra, Viva, Microsoft Forms.
• Understanding of Microsoft 365 licensing and common service use‑cases.
• Ability to lead client engagements, gather and analyse requirements.
• Knowledge of information architecture and governance principles.
• Experience in solution architecture and design using the M365 stack.
• Ability to deliver M365 end‑user and power‑user training.
• Experience with migration tools like Sharegate and Microsoft SharePoint Migration Tool.
• Demonstrated ability to design, develop, and deliver tailored SharePoint solutions for small to enterprise clients.
• Strong documentation skills and commitment to governance and security best practices.
• Desirable: Experience with Adaptive Card Extensions (ACEs) and SPFx deployment to Teams or Office Add‑ins.
• Desirable: Knowledge of webhooks for SharePoint or Microsoft Graph.
• Desirable: Familiarity with Copilot technologies including declarative agents, M365 agents toolkit, Azure OpenAI.
• Desirable: Experience with Power Platform Copilot Studio, Dataverse, Power Apps, custom connectors and third‑party API integrations.
• Desirable: Knowledge of Office 365 CLI and SharePoint CSOM API for deployment.
• Desirable: Experience with Azure service principals, Azure Functions (PowerShell, TypeScript/JavaScript, C#/.NET, NodeJS).
• Desirable: Familiarity with Heft framework.
• Desirable: Advanced Microsoft Graph API usage.
• Desirable: Experience with Microsoft Purview information governance.
• Desirable: Experience with SharePoint Server 2013/2016/2019 architecture, migration, support and patching.
• Desirable: Additional migration tools such as BitTitan and MigrationWiz.
