About the role
The Senior Software Engineer joins the Manufacturing Test organization to build and improve test executive software that ensures quality of land, sea and air products, driving automation, parallel execution, data acquisition, deployment tools and analytics across multi‑platform, cloud‑centric environments.

Requirements
- BS or MS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or equivalent industry experience
- Expertise in software development with Python
- Experience integrating or developing low‑level code and device libraries or drivers
- Experience with CI/CD and designing/delivering DevOps automation for app deployment and testing
- Experience working on multi‑disciplinary projects with Electrical/Mechanical/Manufacturing Engineers
- Experience in automated unit, integration and system‑level testing
- Proficiency with Git version control
- Ability to travel to Costa Mesa headquarters 25‑50% if located elsewhere
- Eligibility to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance
- 8+ years of relevant industry experience (preferred)
- Experience in manufacturing or industrial software (preferred)
- Understanding of device communication protocols such as USB, SPI, I2C, CAN, RS232, RS485, Ethernet, etc. (preferred)
- Expertise in desktop application development with WPF and C# (preferred)
- Experience in embedded systems (preferred)
- Experience in automated testing for non‑software products (preferred)
- Proficiency in RESTful services on AWS/Azure infrastructure (preferred)
- Hands‑on experience with major relational databases (DB2, SQL Server, etc.) and/or NoSQL (preferred)
- Pursuing a Master’s in Computer Science or related field (preferred)
- Experience with test automation or cloud deployment tools (preferred)
