About the role
The Site Reliability Engineer will join the AGD team supporting the Counter Intrusion and Air Defense groups, designing and operating cloud and Kubernetes infrastructure (AWS, Azure, on‑prem) to enable rapid delivery of autonomous defense systems, while leading large projects and improving developer experience.

Requirements
- 6+ years of engineering experience
- Technical expertise in networking, cloud technologies, application development or cybersecurity
- Deep knowledge of the Kubernetes ecosystem (Docker, Helm, ArgoCD, Terraform)
- Experience with cloud services (AWS/Azure)
- Proficiency in Go, Python, Rust, or C++
- Experience performing data‑driven root cause analysis on complex systems
- Ability to train peers or customers on product operation
- Computer Science degree or equivalent
- Active U.S. Top Secret security clearance
- Experience managing Kubernetes clusters of hundreds of nodes (preferred)
- Knowledge of performance improvement techniques, metrics and alerting (preferred)
- Experience with KubeVirt, qemu, virtualization and hypervisor technologies (preferred)
- Experience with low‑level frameworks, Linux and databases (preferred)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills (preferred)
