About the role
The Senior Robotics Engineer will join the Manufacturing Automation team to design, integrate and deploy industrial robots and cobots across Anduril factories, defining production automation at national scale and working closely with controls, mechanical and production teams.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Robotics, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a closely related field
- 4+ years of hands‑on robotics and automation experience in a manufacturing production environment
- Strong capability in programming and commissioning FANUC and Universal Robots (UR) cobots
- Proficiency with robot simulation software (e.g., RoboDK, FANUC ROBOGUIDE, UR Virtual Controller, Delmia)
- Strong theoretical and practical understanding of robot kinematics, dynamics, motion control, and advanced path planning techniques
- Proficient in configuration, tuning, and troubleshooting of robot drives, servo motors, and motion control systems
- In‑depth knowledge of industrial safety standards (ISO 10218, RIA R15.06) and implementation of safety functions such as STO, SLS, SS1
- Proven experience in EOAT selection, design, integration, and troubleshooting of pneumatic, electric, and vacuum grippers
- Basic understanding of EtherNet/IP and Profinet
- Must be a U.S. Person due to export‑controlled information requirements
- 6+ years of hands‑on robotics and automation experience in manufacturing (preferred)
- Experience designing and deploying robotic dispense systems (preferred)
- Experience integrating and configuring vision systems for guidance, inspection, and quality control (preferred)
- Knowledge of PLC programming (Rockwell and Siemens) (preferred)
- Familiarity with CAD packages such as SolidWorks, NX, CATIA, or AutoCAD (preferred)
- TUV Functional Safety Engineer certification (preferred)
