About the role

The Senior Product Sourcing Engineer for Intelligence Systems owns the end‑to‑end supply chain for the Intelligence & Space business line, driving supplier selection, cost management, BOM development, and delivery performance across product lifecycles.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or technical field
  • 8+ years experience in sourcing engineering, supplier engagement/development, or electronics/mechanical device design
  • Domain expertise in value/procurement engineering or total cost of ownership at component and product level
  • Active U.S. Secret or TS clearance and ability to maintain it
  • Ability to travel 10‑40% of the time, variable by program
  • Willingness to relocate to/on‑site in Reston, VA if not local
  • Master’s or advanced technical degree (preferred)
  • Deeper experience in design & development of electronics and/or mechanical devices (preferred)
  • Advanced sourcing experience, such as commodity/sourcing manager roles (preferred)
  • Supplier development experience (technology, process, supply chain) (preferred)
  • Early supplier engagement ahead of product/engineering requirements (preferred)
  • Familiarity with high‑mix, low‑volume high‑tech product development (preferred)
  • Experience in fast‑pace, start‑up environment (preferred)
  • Direct experience in the Space industry (preferred)
  • Experience negotiating and managing commercial subcontracts (preferred)
