About the role
The role is a Systems Engineer on the autonomous airpower team, responsible for creating model‑based systems engineering and requirements‑based testing artifacts, interfacing with internal programs and government customers, and shaping the digital and systems engineering strategy.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in aerospace, mechanical, computer science or a related engineering/technical field
- 7+ years of systems engineering experience across the lifecycle
- Understanding of interoperability and integration challenges in defense systems
- Knowledge of mission system use cases, behaviors and methods such as electronic attack and communications
- Experience with requirements analysis and system design in a government context
- Experience with systems engineering, requirements elicitation and management, integration and test activities on complex DoD or space systems
- Proficiency with SysML, DoDAF, UAFP or similar frameworks
- Ability to develop model‑based artifacts like operational viewpoints, system viewpoints, activity diagrams, use case diagrams, BDDs, IBDs, parametric diagrams, etc.
- Experience using Cameo MagicDraw or similar tools (Rhapsody, SparxEA, etc.)
- Outstanding communication and presentation skills
- Current active U.S. Secret security clearance and ability to maintain it
- Eligibility to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Top Secret security clearance
- Preferred: Contribution to AMS GRA standard or implementation of an adopting mission system
- Preferred: Experience defining or implementing mission system behaviors through UCI
- Preferred: Experience automating Cameo or using Python for systems engineering tasks
- Preferred: INCOSE Systems Engineering Professional (SEP) certification
