About the role

The Senior NPI Sourcing Engineer (Senior Product Sourcing Engineer) drives strategic supply network development and cost management for Anduril’s product hardware across its lifecycle, collaborating with suppliers, engineering, quality and manufacturing teams to ensure successful new‑product introduction.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or other technical field
  • 5+ years experience in sourcing engineering, supplier engagement/development, or design of electronics and/or mechanical devices
  • Domain expertise in value/procurement engineering or total cost of ownership work at component and product level
  • Ability to travel 10%–40% of the time, variable based on program needs
  • Ability to relocate and be onsite in Costa Mesa, CA
  • Master’s degree or advanced technical degree (preferred)
  • Deeper experience in design and development of electronics and/or mechanical devices (preferred)
  • Advanced sourcing experience, such as commodity or sourcing manager roles (preferred)
  • Supplier development experience covering technology, process and supply chain (preferred)
  • Early supplier engagement before product/engineering requirement realization (preferred)
  • Familiarity with high‑mix, low‑volume high‑tech product development (preferred)
  • Exposure to fast‑pace startup environment (preferred)
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. TS clearance (preferred)
