About the role
The role is a senior LAN Engineer in the Network Services organization, responsible for designing, documenting, deploying and supporting LAN architecture across campuses, engineering, warehouse and manufacturing sites worldwide, and driving automation and reliability initiatives.

Requirements
- Bachelor of Engineering or equivalent; 10+ years relevant experience.
- Cisco certifications (CCNP or CCIE preferred).
- Deep knowledge of Cisco LAN infrastructure (Catalyst 9k, Catalyst Center, ISE).
- Strong understanding of networking and IP protocols (OSPF, BGP) and Cisco SD‑Access and industrial switches.
- Experience with Cisco routing & switching, IOS‑XE software.
- Knowledge of Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) principles.
- Familiarity with network automation and scripting (Python, Ansible).
- Experience with monitoring/observability technologies (Syslog, SNMP, Telemetry).
- Understanding of Palo Alto Networks products (firewall, Prisma Access).
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite, Visio, Excel, SharePoint, Teams.
- Strong project management, organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Process‑oriented mindset for creating and improving sustainable processes.
- High standards for quality, technical excellence, and efficiency.
- Ability to travel to Dearborn as needed for lab testing.
