Mechanical Engineer, Components and Propulsion developing and delivering novel propulsion systems and high‑performance mechanical components, performing thermo‑fluid analysis, prototyping, testing and integrating designs into defense platforms.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering with 5+ years hands‑on experience in propulsion system design, analysis or high‑performance mechanical component development
  • Demonstrated experience designing, analyzing (thermodynamics, fluid dynamics, heat transfer, turbomachinery) and testing propulsion systems such as electric motors, internal combustion, jet or rocket engines
  • Proficiency with CFD tools (e.g., ANSYS Fluent, OpenFOAM), FEA tools (e.g., ANSYS, Nastran) and other multi‑physics simulation software
  • Strong mechanical design and CAD skills using professional software (SolidWorks, CATIA, NX) with solid understanding of GD&T, material selection and relevant manufacturing processes
  • Proven ability to plan, execute and analyze propulsion or component‑level testing, including use of data acquisition systems and instrumentation
  • Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Top Secret security clearance
