Job description

About the role

The Senior Manager, Data Centre Vendor Operations & Governance for EMEA owns the relationship, governance and performance oversight of all colocation and third‑party data‑centre providers, acting as the single point of accountability for vendor contracts, SLA compliance, change and incident coordination and reporting, while building the function from a solo role into a regional team.

About the company

Nscale delivers a vertically‑integrated AI cloud, owning the full stack from energy and data‑centres to GPU superclusters, orchestration and AI services, serving AI‑native companies, enterprises and governments across Europe and the US. The company operates some of the densest hyperscale AI infrastructure and promotes a culture of relentless innovation, ownership and transparency.

Requirements

  • Exceptional relationship management skills with proven ability to build and maintain trust with external suppliers and internal teams.
  • Extensive experience in customer‑facing or stakeholder‑management roles, strong communication, empathy and diplomatic negotiation.
  • Direct experience working in a mission‑critical data‑centre environment with solid understanding of day‑to‑day facility operations.
  • Strong commercial and contractual literacy, comfortable with SLAs, OLAs, KPIs and vendor scorecards.
  • Proven track record of organising and running critical operational meetings such as QBRs and syncs, setting agendas and tracking actions.
  • Ability to operate in ambiguity and build a function from the ground up.
  • High‑level understanding of data‑centre infrastructure (power, cooling, facility systems) and ability to discuss technical concepts with engineers.
  • Experience in a high‑growth infrastructure, data‑centre or hyperscale environment.
  • Prior people‑management experience or demonstrated readiness to lead a regional team as the function scales.
  • Familiarity with data‑centre operational reporting metrics such as PUE and uptime.
  • Willingness to travel across EMEA (up to ~25%) for site visits and provider alignment.
