About the role
The Senior Games Data Analyst role turns complex player and product data into actionable insights to improve engagement, retention, monetization and player experience, working closely with product, game operations, marketing, CRM, engineering and other cross‑functional teams to influence strategy, lead analytical projects, and establish reliable measurement frameworks across the player lifecycle.

Requirements
- 5+ years professional experience in data analytics, product analytics, business intelligence, or a related analytical discipline.
- At least 3 years experience in gaming, online entertainment, betting, financial quantitative research, or another high‑volume digital product environment.
- Advanced SQL skills with experience handling large‑scale datasets.
- Strong understanding of product and gaming metrics such as DAU/MAU, retention, churn, conversion, ARPU, ARPPU, payer rate, LTV, and player value.
- Solid knowledge of statistics, hypothesis testing, experimental design, and A/B testing methodologies.
- Experience using Python or R for data analysis, statistical modeling, or automation.
- Hands‑on experience with BI and data visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, Looker, or Apache Superset.
- Familiarity with cloud data warehouses such as Amazon Redshift, Snowflake, BigQuery, or Databricks.
- Experience designing event tracking and validating data quality.
- Strong analytical and critical‑thinking skills to turn ambiguous business questions into structured analysis and actionable recommendations.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills for diverse audiences.
- Ability to manage multiple analytical projects independently in a fast‑paced environment.
- Publication of statistics‑related research in an SCI‑indexed journal is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and a practical, business‑oriented approach to data analysis.
