About the role
The Senior Databricks Engineer – Genie Experience will lead the design and implementation of enterprise-scale data pipelines and AI-powered analytics on the Databricks platform, working remotely within a US-based team to deliver Lakehouse solutions and ensure governance, security, and CI/CD best practices.

Requirements
- 8+ years overall IT experience.
- 4+ years hands-on experience with Databricks.
- Strong proficiency in PySpark, Spark SQL, Python, and SQL.
- Experience with Delta Lake and Lakehouse architecture.
- Hands-on experience with Databricks Genie and AI-powered analytics.
- Experience deploying Databricks on Azure, AWS, or GCP.
- Knowledge of Unity Catalog, data governance, and security.
- Experience building CI/CD pipelines for enterprise data workloads.
- Nice-to-have: Azure Data Factory, Snowflake, Kafka, Airflow, MLflow/MLOps, GenAI, Power BI or Tableau.
