About the role

The Senior Data Engineer Manager will lead and scale Adoreal’s data engineering organization, building a modern cloud‑native data platform, overseeing ETL/ELT pipelines, event streams and analytics infrastructure, and partnering with product, analytics and business leaders to deliver accurate, accessible and scalable data solutions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Systems or a related quantitative field
  • 7+ years of professional experience in data engineering, data platform development or related fields, including managing data teams
  • Deep experience with modern cloud data ecosystems such as Snowflake, BigQuery, AWS, Azure or GCP data services
  • Expertise building and optimizing ETL/ELT pipelines using tools like dbt, Apache Airflow, Spark or similar orchestration frameworks
  • Strong SQL and programming skills in Python, Scala or similar languages
  • Experience with data modeling, schema design and real‑time data ingestion strategies
  • Excellent communication skills with ability to translate complex analyses to non‑technical stakeholders
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced remote environment
  • Preferred: Experience managing internationally distributed teams
  • Preferred: Familiarity with cloud data platforms and modern analytics stacks
  • Preferred: Experience with statistical modeling or data‑science techniques
