About the role
The Senior Data Analyst I, Marketing at Alma is an individual contributor who will serve as the principal data authority and strategic partner for Growth, Performance Marketing and Lifecycle teams. You will own the marketing data reporting layer, define the technical roadmap, design scalable dbt models, build automated insights, mentor analysts and act as the bridge between marketing leadership, data engineering and data science to drive high-velocity, data-driven decision making.

Requirements
- 4–7 years experience in strategic data analytics, business intelligence, or analytics engineering supporting high-growth Growth or Performance Marketing teams.
- Expert-level SQL proficiency and hands-on experience building core warehouse schemas using dbt.
- Proficiency with multiple BI tools such as Looker, Metabase, Tableau, or Lightdash.
- Deep expertise in digital marketing data ecosystems, including ad platforms, event tracking, lifecycle platforms, and stitching anonymous cookies to known user IDs.
- Strong ability to translate complex technical or analytical concepts into structured frameworks and actionable insights for executive and non-technical stakeholders.
- Demonstrated AI-first mindset, actively leveraging AI-powered tools to increase technical velocity and automate repetitive tasks.
- Self-starter with autonomy to tackle ambiguous business challenges and ability to collaborate across functions to engineer robust data solutions.
