Senior Backend Engineer – Agents (100% remote, USA only) focused on developing the core backend, evaluation, and observability for AI‑driven agent platforms that automate sales tasks and integrate with the CRM.

Requirements
- Strong engineering experience with Python as primary language; comfortable working with Go, Rust, or TypeScript.
- Proven track record shipping AI‑native production features, especially agentic capabilities for users.
- Daily use of AI tools to accelerate development, write tighter code, and navigate unfamiliar codebases.
- Builder mindset: prioritize shipping functional versions quickly over extensive abstractions.
- Experience debugging production incidents, meeting latency budgets, owning critical systems, or on‑call responsibilities.
- Familiarity with AI research; ability to read and assess papers on retrieval, RAG, RLHF, or fine‑tuning.
- Comfort working with non‑deterministic, probabilistic outputs and designing systems around them.
- Proficiency with AI agent development, retrieval techniques, evaluation and observability tooling (LangFuse), API development.
- Experience with PostgreSQL and MongoDB databases.
- Knowledge of Pydantic, ElevenLabs, MCP.
- Experience with AWS services (EKS, MSK, RDS, ElastiCache) and container orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Familiarity with infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform and Ansible.
