About the role

As an Account Manager on Flexport’s Account Management team focused on Vietnam, you will proactively grow new and existing client relationships by developing and launching complex freight forwarding solutions, partnering with global teams, and driving expansion across Flexport’s service portfolio.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of client‑facing experience, preferably in logistics, freight forwarding, or supply chain.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a proven track record of delivering innovation and driving results.
  • Experience navigating complex global team matrices to achieve solutions at a global scale.
  • Experience building and leveraging client relationships locally and globally to grow business partnerships.
  • Strategic thinker and disciplined planner who can operationalize strategic plans and stay organized.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with high English proficiency for aligning global stakeholders.
  • Strong negotiation and problem‑solving abilities.
  • Highly collaborative with a history of building strong internal and external relationships.
  • High integrity and ethics, aligned with Flexport’s values.
  • “Compliance first” attitude to satisfy regulators in a heavily regulated industry.
  • Willingness to work from the Ho Chi Minh office in Tan Binh district and travel to other southern provinces to visit clients and factories.
