About the role
Senior AI Platform Engineer (Germany, fully remote) focused on building the foundational platform layer for secure, production‑grade AI applications, designing shared infrastructure, services, integrations and developer tooling, and turning experimental LLM, AI agent, RAG and workflow use cases into reliable scalable systems while establishing technical patterns, reusable capabilities and governance standards across Engineering, Product and IT teams.
Requirements
- Proven senior‑level experience designing and building secure, production‑grade AI platforms
- Hands‑on experience with large language models, AI agents, RAG, tool‑calling and AI workflow orchestration
- Strong background in data engineering and platform engineering practices
- Experience with modern cloud platforms and data technologies (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure, data lakes, streaming)
- Ability to create reusable infrastructure components, developer tooling, and governance frameworks
- Excellent collaboration skills across Engineering, Product and IT teams
- Based in Germany and able to work fully remote
