About the role
Senior individual‑contributor on the General Ledger team, responsible for end‑to‑end close workstreams, drafting accounting policies, and collaborating with the Accounting Manager and Financial Systems Engineer to shape Base’s books as the business scales.

Requirements
- 3–7 years of accounting experience at a high‑growth company, top public accounting firm, or equivalent.
- Strong GAAP fluency with a willingness to dig into technical questions.
- Extreme attention to detail and high regard for precision.
- Familiarity with NetSuite or a comparable ERP system; proficient with spreadsheets and open to AI tooling for closing tasks.
- Ability to work independently on assigned areas and desire to take on more scope as the company scales.
- CPA certification or progress toward CPA is a plus.
