The Manufacturing Security Shift Lead oversees evening and overnight security operations at the battery plant, implementing security strategy, managing staff, access control, CCTV, emergency response, investigations and cross‑functional coordination to protect personnel and assets.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in law enforcement, security, or military
- Full flexibility to work day, night, weekend, and holiday shifts (24/7 availability)
- Current Michigan CPL or ability to obtain one prior to start date
- Strong Microsoft Office and computer skills; ability to navigate department technology platforms
- Highly motivated hands‑on self‑starter with creative thinking ability in a dynamic, ambiguous environment
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Strong interpersonal, team‑building, conflict‑management, and problem‑solving skills
- Ability to multitask, prioritize under changing conditions, remain calm under stress, pay attention to detail, and demonstrate initiative and leadership
- Three years of supervisory experience (preferred)
- CPR/AED certification (preferred)
- Knowledge of Global Security, site security and fire operations (preferred)
- Working knowledge of emergency response levels (preferred)
- Ability to deliver results according to Ford OS Behaviors (preferred)
- LEOSA certification (preferred)
