About the role

The Security Engineer, Hardware Security is a senior member of the Product Security Team who acts as the primary security partner for engineering and hardware groups, leading design reviews, threat modeling and the creation of secure‑by‑default components while establishing hardware and embedded security baselines and driving security initiatives across the product lifecycle.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in Hardware Security, including creating security by design patterns into new devices and platforms
  • 5+ years of experience working with product teams creating security designs and providing security requirements
  • 5+ years of hands‑on development experience in programming languages like Python and C/C++
  • Strong understanding of hardware root of trust, secure boot, attestation, key protection, device identity, and secure provisioning concepts
  • Demonstrated hands‑on experience designing, reviewing, and validating security controls for hardware and low‑level system architectures
  • Experience in cloud security, runtime security, supply chain security, and application security best practices
