The SDET will own test infrastructure and quality strategy, partnering with engineering to design test frameworks, establish testability standards, and build automation across the testing pyramid, reporting to the Director of Quality Assurance.

Requirements
- 5+ years in a software engineering or SDET role with strong programming fundamentals
- Hands‑on experience building test frameworks from scratch (Playwright preferred; Cypress or similar acceptable)
- Proficiency in TypeScript or JavaScript for framework development
- Experience designing CI/CD test pipelines (GitHub Actions, CircleCI, or similar)
- Understanding of the testing pyramid and a track record of placing tests at appropriate layers
- Experience partnering with developers on testability standards (data‑testid contracts, API test hooks, code review for coverage)
- Familiarity with API testing, network‑layer assertions, and mocking/stubbing third‑party integrations
- Mobile test automation experience (Maestro or Appium) is a plus
- Knowledge of monitoring, availability testing, or SRE‑adjacent practices is a plus
