About the role

The Reliability Engineer in JLL Work Dynamics provides reliability engineering support for building, infrastructure and equipment assets, implementing strategic asset management plans, integrating building automation and energy systems, conducting analyses, root‑cause investigations and continuous improvement to enhance equipment reliability and compliance.

Requirements

  • BS in an engineering discipline (mechanical or electrical preferred)
  • 5–10 years experience implementing Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) and Condition‑Based/ Predictive Maintenance methods
  • Experience operating building automation systems and energy management systems, including automated fault detection and diagnostics
  • Strong understanding of asset management, data analytics, and capital planning approaches
  • Experience in critical or regulated environments such as data centers, laboratories, manufacturing, automotive, petro‑chemical, or pharmaceutical facilities (preferred)
  • Extensive knowledge of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire suppression systems
  • Familiarity with commercial, critical, manufacturing, laboratory, or distribution facility types
  • Proficiency with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) and related IT tools
  • Ability to read and apply technical manuals, make recommendations with incomplete data, and balance multiple stakeholder requirements
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills for large data manipulation
  • Preferred certifications: Certified Reliability Leader, Certified Maintenance Reliability Professional, Level 2 thermography, vibration, and ultrasound certifications
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship
