About the role
The Software Quality Engineer reports to the QA Manager and leads the design, execution and automation of test plans for Taco Bell’s software products, using AI‑assisted testing tools to ensure quality across the restaurant ecosystem.

Requirements
- Minimum 2 years IT experience or 1 year software quality assurance experience
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or equivalent experience
- At least 1 year hands‑on manual testing experience with Docker containers, AWS, APIs, microservices, MongoDB, DynamoDB and Datadog
- Familiarity with automation frameworks/tools such as Rest Assured, Selenium, TestNG, Maven, Appium, Jenkins or GitLab
- Experience using AI/GenAI‑assisted testing tools for test case generation, automation optimization and root‑cause analysis
- Minimum 2 years hands‑on experience with Postman, JIRA, QMetry and Datadog
