Python Developer

About the role

As a remote contract Python engineer you will design, build and consume REST APIs, implement authentication/authorization, work with Google Cloud Pub/Sub and BigQuery, and develop data‑driven solutions using Python frameworks for the firm’s consulting engagements.

Requirements

• 6–8 years of professional experience with Python and solid understanding of object‑oriented and/or functional programming.
• Proven experience designing, building, and consuming REST APIs.
• Strong knowledge of API design, authentication/authorization (OAuth, JWT) and versioning.
• Experience with Python web frameworks such as Flask, FastAPI, or Django.
• Hands‑on experience with Google Cloud Platform Pub/Sub for event‑driven messaging.
• Experience with BigQuery or comparable SQL databases for large‑scale analytics.
• Familiarity with relational and/or NoSQL databases and ability to write efficient queries.
• Proficiency with Git version control.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities, attention to detail, and effective communication and collaboration skills.
• Proficiency in IT consulting, Agile methodologies, real‑time systems, SAP BASIS, API development, authentication/authorization, Google Cloud Platform, messaging, SQL, NoSQL, and database concepts.
• Strong writing, version control, problem solving, conflict resolution, attention to detail, communication, and collaboration.
