The Project Geotechnical Engineer/Project Manager in Melville/White Plains, NY delivers geotechnical analysis and design, oversees project delivery, supervises staff engineers, manages client interfaces and collaborates across small‑ and large‑scale geotechnical projects.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering (Master’s with Geotechnical emphasis preferred)
- Professional Engineer (PE) licensure
- Minimum 6 years of geotechnical engineering experience
- At least 3 years of field experience with investigations and construction observation (mass grading, deep foundations, subgrade, ground improvement, excavation support, tieback installation/testing)
- Proven ability to prepare technical reports, specifications, construction plans, recommendations, write proposals, run/co‑coordinate projects, manage clients and billings, review and mentor staff
- Strong knowledge of codes, regulatory requirements and quantitative/technical analysis software
- Entrepreneurial and professional demeanor with excellent written, verbal and presentation skills
- Ability to seek new business opportunities and develop clients while handling project workload
- Capability to coach and assist in staff management
- Demonstrated collaborative teamwork with staff, clients and regulatory agencies
- Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license
