About the role

The Principal Software Engineer at Verint designs and develops cloud‑first full‑stack applications, leveraging ReactJS, Java and SQL/NoSQL databases, introduces innovative cloud integrations and UI/back‑end features, improves performance, provides subject‑matter expertise for customer implementations, and collaborates with product, development, operations and client services teams while advising management on process and technology improvements.

Requirements

• 8+ years experience designing and architecting large‑scale applications
• Advanced degree or Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• Experience developing quality into the entire system
• Proven track record delivering complex projects on time and providing technical leadership
• Hands‑on full‑stack development and architecture of scalable web applications for large enterprise customers
• Excellent coding skills in C# (preferred) or Java (required)
• Experience with JavaScript UI libraries such as React, Angular, or Vue (preferred)
• Familiarity with enterprise application security best practices
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Successful completion of background screening (employment verification, criminal search, OFAC, SS verification)
• Exposure to automation, exploratory, and modern testing techniques (preferred)
• Provides technical and professional leadership to other developers (preferred)
