About the role
The Practice Leader – Civil Engineering will head Langan’s Cincinnati office, driving growth of the Midwest multidisciplinary practice by building and leading a cross‑functional team, generating new business, managing client relationships and overseeing land‑development projects from concept through completion.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
- 15+ years of local site/civil engineering experience with a concentration in land development on small and large projects
- Professional Engineering license
- Strong client development and client management abilities
- Experience designing and overseeing site layout, grading, drainage, infrastructure, erosion and sediment control from concept through completion
- Proficiency with AutoCAD or Civil 3D (preferred)
- Active participation in professional organizations
- Experience in technical and proposal writing
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail with excellent analytical, multitasking, and judgment capabilities
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license in good standing
