About the role
The PostgreSQL Database Developer will support CGS’s rapidly growing Data Analytics and Business Intelligence platform by leading the migration from Oracle to a Microsoft Azure Postgres environment, managing and scaling PostgreSQL databases, ensuring performance, security and availability, and working within an Agile team to deliver robust data solutions for federal clients.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree
- Must be a U.S. citizen
- 7 years of experience administering PostgreSQL databases in Linux environments
- Experience setting up, monitoring, and maintaining PostgreSQL instances
- Experience implementing and maintaining PostgreSQL backup and disaster recovery processes
- Experience migrating Oracle schema, packages, views, and triggers to PostgreSQL using the Ora2Pg tool
- Preferred: experience implementing and maintaining data warehouses
- Preferred: experience with AWS RDS for PostgreSQL
- Preferred: experience with Oracle databases
- Preferred: experience leveraging the Ora2Pg tool
- Preferred: experience working in cloud environments such as Azure and/or AWS
- Preferred: prior federal consulting experience
