The Platform Engineer designs, builds, and maintains core cloud and on‑premises infrastructure and platform services that enable application development and deployment, ensuring reliability, scalability, security, and DevSecOps integration across the organization’s systems.

Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in platform engineering, DevOps, or a related field.
- Experience managing and deploying cloud infrastructure on Azure, AWS, or GCP.
- Hands‑on experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or GitLab CI.
- Proven track record implementing infrastructure as code.
- Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools like New Relic.
- Proficiency in scripting/automation languages (Python, Bash, PowerShell).
- In‑depth understanding of networking concepts (DNS, load balancing, firewalls, VPNs).
- Knowledge of security practices including vulnerability scanning, compliance checks, and threat modeling.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage competing priorities to meet deadlines.
- Detail‑oriented, organized, and strong task management skills.
- Strong problem‑analysis and resolution abilities.
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Knowledge of credit union products, services, policies, and procedures.
- Understanding of credit union computer systems and software applications.
