Platform Engineer / Site Reliability Engineer (SRE)

The Platform Engineer / Site Reliability Engineer will design, build, and operate scalable, secure, and reliable cloud infrastructure and automation for cloud‑native healthcare applications, focusing on infrastructure‑as‑code, CI/CD, Kubernetes, observability, operational support, and cross‑team collaboration.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, IT, Computer Science, Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience
• Minimum 5 years hands‑on experience with Terraform and Ansible for IaC and CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub, Maven, JFrog
• Proven experience deploying and managing infrastructure and services on Google Cloud Platform
• Strong knowledge of GCP networking, IAM, security, cost optimization and core services (Cloud Run, Pub/Sub, GKE, Firestore)
• Extensive experience deploying, scaling, managing containerized applications on Kubernetes, including service mesh, auto‑scaling, rolling updates
• Proficiency in at least one programming/scripting language (Python, Go, Java, C++, Perl, Ruby, SQL) for automation
• Experience designing and implementing operational support models (incident response, root cause analysis, monitoring, alerting)
• Demonstrated reliability engineering practice experience (capacity planning, fault tolerance, resilience design)
• Experience working in Agile environments with sprints, stand‑ups, planning, retrospectives
• Minimum 2 years experience with AWS or Azure (preferred)
