About the role
The Open Source AI Engineer (TypeScript) will join Arize’s OSS team to design and ship open‑source frameworks, metrics and tooling that help developers monitor, evaluate and improve LLM outputs. The role involves community collaboration, rapid prototyping of cutting‑edge LLM techniques, integration with Arize’s platform for deeper observability, and evangelism through documentation and content.

Requirements
- Hands‑on experience with popular LLM frameworks, prompt engineering and agent harnesses
- Strong TypeScript proficiency, able to write isomorphic code for client, server and edge runtimes
- Proven open source track record – contributions, personal GitHub AI demos or active community involvement
- Familiarity with ML observability tools, debugging AI applications, embeddings or building data‑heavy dashboards (plus)
