Job description

About the role

The role is a quota‑carrying, field‑facing sales operator responsible for generating and owning Azure‑channel pipeline and revenue, mapping Microsoft’s ISV and enterprise field org, activating co‑sell motions, building repeatable sales plays and owning forecasting and joint business planning.

About the company

Fireworks AI is a Series D AI startup valued at $17.5 billion that provides a specialized intelligence platform for building, training and serving enterprise‑grade AI models across text, image, audio and multimodal workloads; founded by the team behind PyTorch and backed by investors such as AMD, Sequoia and TCV.

Requirements

  • 7+ years in GTM, partnerships or field sales at a technology company with a proven ability to operate quickly in changing environments
  • Deep knowledge of Microsoft’s field organization—including account teams, SSPs, GBBs, marketplace mechanics, co‑sell programs, MACC spend and partner incentives—and ability to activate them at the deal level
  • Ability to build systems and create repeatable sales playbooks
  • Comfortable owning a quota before ideal conditions are met, accountable for pipeline sourcing, progression and forecasting
  • Excellent clear and concise communication skills; able to translate complex platform capabilities into value stories for non‑technical field sellers
  • Commitment to pipeline hygiene and forecast accuracy
  • Working fluency in model serving, inference optimization and AI training infrastructure sufficient to hold credible technical conversations
  • Preferred: experience working within a hyperscaler partner ecosystem (Microsoft, AWS, GCP)
  • Preferred: experience selling or partnering in AI/ML infrastructure, model serving or MLOps
  • Preferred: experience with ISVs at the platform layer, understanding build‑vs‑buy decisions and procurement dynamics
  • Preferred: non‑linear career path or varied, scrappy background
