The role manages material flow across the plant to support production and warehousing, providing engineering support, designing processes and equipment, improving safety, cost, quality and efficiency through Lean principles, and collaborating with planning, production, supply chain and engineering teams.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 2 or more years’ of materials experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (preferred)
- Demonstrated experience working with all levels of the organization (preferred)
- Experience working collaboratively on teams and driving results (preferred)
- Leadership behaviors with strong interpersonal, teambuilding and communication skills (preferred)
- Experience in a manufacturing plant environment (preferred)
- Tenure in the automotive industry (preferred)
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Access) (preferred)
- Knowledge of AutoCAD (preferred)
- Validated functional expertise in material flow (preferred)
- Strong understanding of lean material flow strategies and lean manufacturing processes (preferred)
