About the role
The MassHealth Enrollment Specialist works directly with patients by phone or video to complete and renew MassHealth applications, resolve eligibility issues, and manage cases end‑to‑end. The role also serves as the internal MassHealth expert, feeding insights to product and operations teams, supporting renewal campaigns, and helping build the enrollment support playbook in an early‑stage startup.
About the company
BridgeHealthAI builds AI‑powered technology for the healthcare safety net, partnering with community health centers to identify patients at risk of losing MassHealth coverage, reach them at scale and automate administrative work. The small, fast‑moving startup was founded by Harvard and MIT alumni and is backed by Pear VC, Flare Capital and Glen Tullman, focusing on health equity.

- Strong patient communication skills, able to make complicated processes understandable and manageable.

- Ability to manage own caseload independently without daily supervision.
- Tech‑savvy and excited to use new tools, AI, and automation to improve enrollment work.
- Comfortable figuring out undefined processes in an early‑stage startup environment.
- Based in Massachusetts (remote work permitted).
- Preferred: fluency in Spanish, Haitian Creole, Portuguese, Cape Verdean Creole, or Vietnamese.
- Preferred: experience working at an FQHC, community health center, hospital financial assistance department, or similar safety‑net organization.
- Preferred: experience with high‑volume renewal campaigns or community enrollment events.
