About the role

The Manufacturing Engineer on the Launched Effects team will own the end‑to‑end manufacturing value chain for the Altius air‑launched systems, bridging R&D and high‑rate production, driving Design for Manufacturability, tool design, production line optimization, vendor partnerships, quality assurance and process documentation.

Requirements

  • Degree in a technical field preferred such as engineering, math, or a hard science.
  • 4+ years of experience in a relevant field, preferably manufacturing or design of electromechanical hardware.
  • Demonstrated ability to creatively deliver electromechanical hardware in a resource‑constrained environment.
  • World‑class mission assurance mindset with strong quality focus, attention to detail and dedication.
  • Genuine interest in manufacturing and a thirst for learning.
  • Flexibility to work extended hours and weekends when dictated by critical business priorities.
  • Willingness to travel regularly between various locations.
  • Eligibility to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance.
  • Exposure to aircraft programs or other aerospace & defense technologies (preferred).
  • Software scripting experience in any language (preferred).
  • Lean Six Sigma certification (Green Belt or higher) or equivalent experience (preferred).
  • Familiarity with J‑STD‑001, IPC‑A‑610, and IPC/WHMA‑A‑620 or equivalent standards (preferred).
